On a mission to fix San Diego’s bagel crisis—one real bagel at a time.

Growing up Jewish in Cincinnati, siblings Gabe and Hannah knew that bagels weren’t just breakfast—they were family, tradition, and pure comfort. Between the two of them (and Dante, Hannah’s husband and now our official honorary bagel expert), they’ve eaten more bagels than they’d care to admit.

After 10 years of living in sunny San Diego, Gabe realized something was missing: real bagels. The chewy, golden, perfectly schmearable kind. So he got to work during the pandemic, launching a small bagel delivery and catering business that quickly won over San Diego’s hungriest carb lovers.

Fast forward to today: Hannah and Dante packed up their lives in Colorado to join Gabe and help take San Diego’s bagel game to the next level—on wheels. And so, Mission Bagel was born.

We’re a family-run food truck, set up in Pacific Beach, , bringing simple, no-nonsense bagels and deli salads to America’s Finest City. Our menu is tight, fresh, and fuss-free—because you don’t need a gimmick when you’ve got a perfect everything bagel. (Though we will proudly brag about Mom’s Egg Salad and Tuna Salad.)

Swing by the truck, grab a bagel (or three), and share a little slice (or schmear) of our family’s traditions with yours.

Bagels are better when they’re shared. And trust us—ours are worth sharing.
